Central Board Of Secondary Education
The CBSE is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools. The first CBSE education was set up in India at UP board of the high school in 1921. There are about 18,006 schools in India affiliated to CBSE. It includes 2635 Government schools, 1113 Kendriya Vidyalaya, 587
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, 13657 independent schools and 14
Tibetan Schools. The schools which are affiliated to the CBSE board have the same syllabus and same question papers for examinations all over India.
